| At the arrival of the Bin Laden kite, this America
Airlines Kite made an emergency landing. |
|
|

|
| This was one of the two huge kites on show. Nearby
spectators assumed a safe viewing position as they waited to
see if it would fly or not. Here you can see the guys preparing
to raise the kite. |

| This attempt failed as the kite decided to dive
head first into the ground. "Don't give up fellas, leh
we try again". They decided to raise the kite from behind
instead.... |

| but unfortunately the kite had other plans. The
frame broke and it slumped to the ground. On-the-spot repairs
were futile. |
