13 Ghosts (2001)

when i first seen 13ghost i though it was very scary to me cause the the one ghost had a nife and it was a girl and she was naked, the other ghost had a kage on its head that was very scary and i like the movie

well i love the movie very much i like it so much that i watch it 3times

hey 4 every1 who has'nt seen 13ghosts get of ur computer dont be a bore and run 2 ur nearest video shop and rent it out it is fab i heard that it was 1 of matts best movies and u see him a lot in it so hurry up and run god u r maybe 2late now after u read this (U R WAY 2 LATE I GOT IT B4 U SORRY);-)

the movie was brill cause matthew lilard was in it and i abosoutly luv him and the best parts was when u seen his face up close and also wen the ghosts poped out but anyway i LUV MATTHEW LILARD and i cant wait until his new movie comes out with him and freddie prince Jr. its not scooby doo but i cant wait 4 the second one in that 2 come out as well cause matthew lilard is in it.

i luv 13 ghosts it is my best movie because matthew lilard is in it and because its kewl the way the ghosts r all freaky lookin but i watched it about 15 times in 4 days cause i luv matthew lilard he is just da best and i think that he is a really good actor but like if i didnt like him i dont think i would of watched in bout 100 times i cant wait until he makes his new movie with freddie prince Jr.

This is my favourite film because Matthew Lilard is in it. I abbsolutely love him to bits. His eyes are great!

This movie is one of the best horror movies i've seen. Because of the visual effects and it has one of my favorite actors in it Matthew Lillard. This movie was one of his best roles. all though in Scream he was pretty good too. Anyways this movie is kool... the only problem is that the first time you see it, it's like really scary but the next time you watch it, it's not as scary. Oh well.

The first time you watch it you will either love it or hate it, i find very few people inbetween. I myself enjoy it very much, the special effects are really wonderful and cutting edge and the make-up was phenominal. Though I am a tiny bit non-partial, because it has two of my fave actors in it (Matthew Lilard and Tony Shalhoub). Sadly most of the chars in the movie were a tiny bit flat, but I feel this is mostly due becuase of how short they had to make it. Shalhoubs kids thankfully are not the center of the picture though important in the end. For me the most real char in the movie was Lilards char, Dennis, a psychic that had helped capture all the ghosts and is forced to be an invtrovert due to his powers. BUT WITH A WONDERFUL SENCE OF FASHION! ^_^ Anyway he does his best to get them out before it is to late but nobody ever listens to the guy taking the pills. In the end I enjoyed the movie very much and jumpped a fair amount of times. A great movie for horror flick night and most def not for chicldren. The main issue I had with the movie was the flickering ghosts and that the Torso, and Bound Woman sucked as scary beings. Still I loved it and it is now sitting in my colection.

This is one of the most interesting horrors I have seen in a while. It is not horrific but it holds your attention and leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. The house is magnificient playing an intrigal part in the plot of the movie.

With the numerous advances in technology and the world of cinematography, one would expect that Hollywood could give birth to a "scare me senseless" horror. But that's not the case with "13 Ghosts". The plot centers around a poor widower (Tony Shalhoub) and his family who inherits his late uncle's estate. Shannon Elizabeth, as a teenage daughter fails to pass for one and, I suspect her role was to lure the male audience in with her curvaceous figure and nothing more. Matthew Lillard, as a high-strung psychic supposedly brings comic relief but his talent could have been utilised in a better script. In all we have the usual excessive amount of blood and gore; the predictable suspense scenes; semi-nudity; profanity and angry, disfigured ghosts. At the end one might be prone to nightmares from the horrible dialogue instead of the Ghosts themselves.
