The day also marked the return to the Yamaha Championship class of Nicholas Blades and Nick Gill - the latter a seasoned campaigner a few years ago. The first race saw pole-sitter Dane Skeete hand the victory to the hotly pursuing Conor Roach after hitting a curb and damaging his front spoiler. Dane won the second race with a charging drive from the back of the grid.The race of the day was probably the third race with Conor Roach stealing the lead in the first corner but then a tangle in the esses (right) between Conor and Dane allowed Orry Hunte into the lead for the eventual win. Jesse Kelly and Nicholas Blades both suffered from mechanical woes, dropping them down the order. All in all a cleanly contested and competitive day's racing from all the youngsters.

In the 'Junior' class it was once again Joshua Kelly who emerged victorious over Scott Parkinson. The two youngsters started behind the Championship class 'big guns' and did an excellent job not getting lapped by the faster karts - good experience for the duo.

The Karting Association would like to thank Frutee and Pro-Auto for their support - without support the sport and the next generation of drivers would not progress.
